It is a holy shrine of Lord Shiva. As you reach the foothills of the Ghoradeshwar temple, you see the well built 362 odd steps to climb. On the top there are caves carved on big rocks. Inside this caves there are templesFrom the architectural point of view, the temple is pretty simple. Ghoradeshwar makes a perfect destination for a one day trip from Pune. The trip gives you utmost spiritual satisfaction along with an introduction to some matchless natural beauty.
It is situated at Gorawadi village which is just before toll plaza of old Pune-Mumbai road.

Any time you can visit this place. July to September is best time.
