Redi Beach - Sindhudurg District


Redi is a small village that is located in the state of Maharashtra. The place is known for its untouched beaches and the long expanses of yellow sand filled beaches are clean and unaffected by tourism as yet. There is an interesting old Maratha Fort that is located in the village. One can walk around the fort and enjoy the scenic views of the beaches. The fort is the main center of attraction in the village of Redi along with Ganpati Temple in village. The town in which this temple is situated contains manganese mines and the Ganpati idol was found in one of the mines near Rewati port in 1976. Redi Beach is Approx. 35 Kms from Sawantwadi.

Shiroda - Velagar Beach - Sindhudurg District


Shiroda - Velagar Beach located in Tal. Vengurla, Dist. Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. . Shiroda is Approx. 30 Kms from Sawantwadi. Featuring natural beauty, privacy, sparkling blue waters, long stretch of silver sands, cool sea breeze whispering through towering cajuring plantations on the beach, amenities and salt depots around the village, Shiroda is feast for the eyes of visitors. Everyone in Maharashtra and its neighboring state is aware of great Marathi author Shri V. S. Khandekar. It is a place where he worked from 1920 to 1938 as a primary and secondary school teacher. So this place has got its own identity.
Another tourist attraction nearby consists of the Redi Ganesh Temple, Sagareshwar beach, Mochemad Beach, Shiroda Mithagar and the Terekhol Fort. Also one can reach Goa by just crossing Aronda bridge. Goa border is very near from Shiroda. Vengurla Beach is Approx. 12 Kms from Shiroda.

Vengurla Beach - Sindhudurg District

Vengurla is a town in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, India.
With its long stretch of white sands, and hills covered with cashew, coconut, jackfruit and mango groves lies the pristine and beautiful town of Vengurla. It has two well-known temples: the Shri Devi Sateri temple and the Rameshwar Mandir. Vengurla is often mentioned in history books as a trade settlement. Twice burned to the ground, it was the target of repetitive attacks and plunders between 1664 and 1812. To the west-north-west lie the Vengurla Rocks, also called Burnt Islands.

Khavane beach is a natural beach with clean blue water. It is surrounded by hilly area. The graceful combination of sea phase & glorious coconut trees is special   attraction of this place. But being a bit apart from the town this beach has still remained neglected. This place is best for the people who need solitude & relaxation for mind.

Bhogwe Beach - Sindhudurg District


Bhogwe beach is among the prettiest and most secluded beaches in Konkan. Bhogave beach is endowed with foamy waves and silver sand. Village Bhogave has another attraction of unification of sea and river named Karli. This beach enjoys yet another magnetic characteristic, that is being a habitation of dolphins. Bhogwe beach is among the prettiest and most secluded beaches in Konkan. Located on the Sagari Mahamarg connecting Malvan to Vengurla Bhogwe has Nivati as its neighbor. Bhogwe beach is the unending stretch of beach to the north of Nivati fort. The beach is scattered with rocks and if you plan to take a dip take a close look before you venture into the sea to avoid the rocks. The sea near Bhogwe is so clear that the visibility is more than 6-8 feet.

Nivati Beach - Sindhudurg District



Nivati is a land blessed with natural grandeur where there is lots to see explore and experience. With a secluded stretch of white sand beach with the ruins of the Nivati fort playing sentinel to it, Nivati is among the most beautiful beaches in the entire Konkan stretch. Nivati rock, about 10 nautical miles into the sea, is a group of three rocky islands and is a haven for explorers in you not to forget Nivati backwaters.
Nivati beach offers peace and serenity to independent travelers. Fishermen seen launching their traditional boats and nets daily into the sea is an interesting feature to watch on this beach. Adjoining the beach is a twin village Kochara which offers wonderful view of small tropical oasis on Nivti shore.The Nivati village location is a midst the greenery of plantations and ocean roars form the west. The air is sweet, moist and clean and the seawater is crystal clear, in its natural form. The Nivati fort located nearby provides historical significance to this place. Kille Nivati Beach - Sindhudurg District

Kille Nivati is actually one of the area ("Wadi" in local language) of Parule village history and natural beauty gives this place a different edge. The beach is very clean with white sand and blue water. Near beach is fort called Nivati Fort. Once can enjoy beautiful view from this fort of Nivati Beach and Bhogwe Beach.
