Redi Beach - Sindhudurg District

Redi is a small village that is located in the state of Maharashtra. The place is known for its untouched beaches and the long expanses of yellow sand filled beaches are clean and unaffected by tourism as yet. There is an interesting old Maratha Fort that is located in the village. One can walk around the fort and enjoy the scenic views of the beaches. The fort is the main center of attraction in the village of Redi along with Ganpati Temple in village. The town in which this temple is situated contains manganese mines and the Ganpati idol was found in one of the mines near Rewati port in 1976. Redi Beach is Approx. 35 Kms from Sawantwadi.

Best time to visit is from mid October to May
